Brand identity and website design for a scratch kitchen serving burgers, tenders, and catering in St. Johns, Florida.
View case studyI’m Sabrina Awdi, a Jacksonville-based brand and web designer for women-owned businesses, and the graphic designer St. Augustine founders can bring in for a full identity: logo suite, type, palette, website and search. I build systems that look as considered as the historic streets around you, and that stay consistent once I hand them over.

In a city that draws visitors to coquina walls and Flagler-era towers, a logo alone rarely carries a business. The harder part is everything around it: the menu, the hanging sign, the Instagram grid, the booking page, the tote bag. When each piece is designed on its own, the brand drifts. I design the system first, so a St. Augustine shop, restaurant or practice looks like one business from the sidewalk on St. George Street to the search results on a visitor’s phone.
An identity system that:
Four services, one system. Each one starts from your identity, so your brand, website, search presence and campaigns all read as the same business.
A few identity, packaging and web projects for clients across the US, Europe and the Middle East. Each one shows what I bring to a St. Augustine business: a system, not a single file.

I’m Sabrina, a graphic and brand designer based in Jacksonville with over four years of experience building visual identity systems for brands in beauty, food and beverage, software, publishing and professional services. My clients are spread across the US, Europe and the Middle East, so I run every project by email with shared files and clear review rounds. That suits St. Augustine owners whose busiest hours belong to their customers. You get clear stages, considered options and files you can actually use.
Research, references, and the problem the design has to solve.
Sketches and routes explored broadly before anything gets refined.
Type, colour, and layout resolved into a system that holds together.
Production-ready files, guidelines, and everything needed to use them.
St. Augustine was founded in 1565 and is the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in the contiguous United States. Visitors come for the Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fort in the continental US, and for St. George Street, a pedestrian street lined with historic houses and attractions. Tourism became the dominant part of the local economy long ago, so most businesses here are judged by people seeing them for the first time.
The look of the place is a high bar. Henry Flagler’s 1888 Hotel Ponce de Leon, now home to Flagler College, helped set a Spanish Renaissance Revival tone, and the city reviews most work in its five historic preservation districts against written architectural guidelines. King Street, San Marco Avenue and Anastasia Boulevard have their own design standards as gateways. A brand here has to feel at home beside all of that without looking like a costume.
Then there are the seasons. Nights of Lights fills the historic district with millions of holiday lights from late November into January, and the visitor bureau points people toward galleries, local artist studios, breweries, wineries and distilleries. I design brands that work at a glance on a crowded street and still read clearly on a phone later that evening, when someone is deciding where to go next.
St. Augustine sits about 40 miles south of downtown Jacksonville, and I work with businesses across the region, from St. Johns County up to Nassau County.
Brand and web design for St. Augustine businesses competing for attention in the Nation’s Oldest City.
Yes. St. Augustine is one of the Northeast Florida areas I serve, about 40 miles south of downtown Jacksonville. I run projects by email with shared files and clear review rounds, which is how I already work with clients across the US, Europe and the Middle East. For a St. Augustine owner, that means you review designs when it suits your trading hours, not when a meeting slot opens up.
I build the visual system your St. Augustine business uses everywhere: logo suite, type, color palette and guidelines, then apply it to your website, menus, packaging, social posts and sign artwork. The point is consistency. A visitor might see your sign on a historic street, then your Instagram, then your booking page, and each one should feel like the same business.
Yes, and that balance is most of the job in St. Augustine. I study the setting, from coquina and Flagler-era detail to the newer shops and studios, then design a mark and palette that sit comfortably beside it while still feeling current. The result should look like it belongs on the street today, not like a reproduction of something from another century.
I do both. Many St. Augustine businesses need print that works in the hand, like menus, labels, cards and packaging, alongside a website and social content that work on a phone. I design the identity once and deliver production-ready files for print, screen, packaging and social, so your printer and your web pages are pulling from the same set of rules.
Send me an email through the contact page with a few lines about your St. Augustine business, who your customers are and what you need. I reply with questions, then we agree on scope before any design starts. The first stage is always discovery: your mission, audience and market position, because that clarity drives every visual choice that follows.
Yes. Alongside design I offer SEO for St. Augustine businesses: keyword and competitor research, on-page and technical fixes, and content built around what people actually search for. In a town where so many customers are visitors planning a trip, being findable before they arrive matters as much as how your brand looks once they walk in.
Tell me about your business and what it needs next. I’ll reply by email with a few questions and a clear way to start.
