A fictional user interface (FUI) concept: a heads-up scanner that locks onto the person in front of you and reads them in real time.

The goal was to reimagine FUI — fictional user interface — from a detective-or-spy standpoint: the kind of heads-up display you'd see through an investigator's visor as it sizes up the person across the room. A cyan reticle acquires the target, wireframe geometry maps the subject, and data ticks up as the system reports 'target detected.'
Every element was designed and animated for legibility first: crisp rings, scanning sweeps, and micro-typography that feels functional rather than decorative. It's motion in service of a story the viewer completes for themselves.
