Quig's Meats & Eats

Brand identity and website design for a scratch kitchen serving burgers, tenders, and catering in St. Johns, Florida.

Challenge

Quig's needed a digital presence that matched the quality of the food: a scratch kitchen menu of smash burgers, tenders, and catering packages that could hold its own online against bigger regional chains. The site needed to do three things at once: sell the food, make catering inquiries effortless, and give the brand a personality that felt local and unmistakably theirs.

Results

The finished site gives Quig's a homepage built to convert first-time visitors into orders, a catering page designed to make inquiries easy, and a brand system consistent enough to extend into future packaging and signage work.

About the Brand

Quig's Meats & Eats is a family-owned restaurant in St. Johns, Florida, built around one thing: fresh, made-to-order food that doesn't cut corners. Founded by Scott in 2023, the menu spans hand-formed burgers, fresh seafood, crispy tenders, and veggie options, all made with all-natural ingredients and cooked to order rather than pulled from a shortcut.

The business has grown a loyal, five-star local following across Jacksonville, St. Johns, and St. Augustine, and now runs a full catering arm serving events across North Florida.

The Process

How this brand came to life

  1. 01

    Research & Discovery

I work to understand the business, its values, and target audience, research competitors and industry trends, then identify the unique selling points and brand attributes.

  2. 02

    Define Brand Strategy

Based on the research, I develop a brand strategy aligned with the client's goals, clarifying the mission, vision, and values, then defining the brand's personality and positioning.

  3. 03

    Concept Development

I generate initial design concepts and explore visual directions like color schemes, typography, and imagery, then present them to the client for feedback and discussion.

  4. 04

    Design Exploration

I refine the selected concepts and explore variations, developing the logo, typography, color palette, and other visual elements, then begin the web design.

  5. 05

    Feedback, Iteration & Finalization

After gathering feedback, I iterate and refine the chosen direction, then finalize every element and deliver style guides covering logo usage, color codes, and typography.
