Synthwave Space
My RIT 3D motion final: the synthwave aesthetic dropped into deep space, built entirely from abstract elements — a rippling sea, planets and a moon, a rainbow diamond, and, at the end, a lone skull.

For my 3D motion final at RIT, I started from the colors of the synthwave theme and asked what would happen if I combined that world with the scale of space. Everything in the scene is an abstract stand-in: a rippling surface for water, planets and a moon drifting along the horizon, and a rainbow diamond catching the light.
It builds toward a skull rising from the sea — a deliberate pairing of life and death, meant to push the piece somewhere outside the ordinary. The result leans on mood and texture: reflective surfaces, volumetric glow, and slow, hypnotic camera moves.
